Transforming Site Progress into Actionable Insight

At GSC, we redefine how construction progress is tracked and documented. Through advanced aerial monitoring, we deliver precise, high-definition visual data that empowers project teams to make informed decisions, maintain transparency, and showcase progress with clarity and confidence.

Monthly Aerial Videography and Photography

Our team provides regular drone-based aerial imagery and videography to capture every phase of a construction project — from initial groundwork to project completion. Using pre-defined flight paths, we ensure consistent coverage that can be compared month-to-month for accurate progress tracking.

All imagery is captured in high-definition, processed for clarity and color balance, and delivered both as individual media files and assembled into time-lapse sequences. These sequences provide a dynamic visual narrative of project evolution — perfect for technical reporting, management review, and stakeholder presentations.

Whether for planning, documentation, or marketing, our aerial coverage transforms construction monitoring into a visual experience that highlights both progress and precision.

Quantity Surveying and Cut & Fill Analysis

Our cut and fill (earthworks excavation and filling) analysis offers construction teams a powerful and interactive way to assess volumetric changes on-site. Using data collected by UAVs, we calculate the Above Ground Level (AGL) surface before construction begins and compare it with the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) generated from the latest drone survey.

Both surfaces are processed in AutoCAD Civil 3D, analyzed with volumetric modeling tools, and presented in detailed, easy-to-interpret reports. This allows project teams to:

  • Accurately quantify excavation and fill volumes
  • Identify discrepancies in earthwork activities
  • Optimize material movement and resource allocation

The high-density measurement data from GSC’s UAV models ensures far greater precision than traditional methods — providing a true before-and-after comparison that reflects real on-site conditions.

By combining AGL surface data provided by the client with the DTM generated by GSC’s UAV systems, we deliver visual and analytical comparisons that clearly illustrate terrain modifications, progress accuracy, and site integrity. These outputs provide engineers, contractors, and decision-makers with the insights needed to maintain control over every stage of development.

Comparing BIM Design with the As-Built Condition (Point Cloud)

Using state-of-the-art technology, GSC performs precise comparisons between the as-built point cloud and the original BIM design model. This ensures that construction progress aligns perfectly with design intent and engineering specifications.

All our software and outputs are fully compatible with Autodesk, MicroStation, and other leading engineering platforms — allowing seamless integration into your existing workflows and enhancing coordination between design and execution teams.
